Our player of the week from regionals goes to OZ/RL striker, Mya Schroeder. She earned this award after scoring 8 goals to lead her team to another state tournament appearance.

When asked about his strategy heading into the sectional final, Oostburg head coach Chris Wolfert said, “We went and scouted her vs. Living Word Lutheran, and she scored 6 goals vs a D1 recruit goalie [with] a double man-mark.  We changed our entire formation to cover her with no luck as she scored twice. I played 7 defenders back and she did everything to make it miserable.”
